Montclare

Phase 2

  • Construction on Phase II of The Montclare Senior Residences, a highly successful and innovative apartment residence for seniors, will be completed ahead of schedule.
  • Response from Phase I residents and the community has been so overwhelming that occupancy for Phase II is expected to go quickly. The seven story, 181 unit complex will be connected to the stunning common area of The Montclare Phase I residence
  • As the general population ages, affordable senior housing will continue to be in high demand and The Montclare meets this need.
  • For people age 55 years and older – with an annual income that does not exceed $31,680 for one person, or $36,180 for two people – these apartments offer an affordable option, yet they are filled with great amenities.
  • A very limited number of market rate units are also available for rental, which are ideal for those seniors who do not meet the required income restrictions to live at The Montclare.

C.V.C.A.

Redevelopment​

  • The Project implements the redevelopment of the existing Chicago Vocational Career Academy (CVCA) school and will consist of the abatement and demolition of the Anthony Wing
  • Interior renovations of the built 1940 existing facility
  • MEP upgrades including to the central plant, exterior facade repairs, roof replacements, landscaping, right-of-way improvements
  • Site development with restoration work.
  • Program renovations will be provided in support of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and Career-to-Education (CTE) programs (Navistar, Culinary, Cosmetology, Carpentry, Allied Health, and Horticulture).
  • Site development includes environmental management, civil and landscape work.
