The 8th Ward experienced the highest number of outages in the City of Chicago due to a significant storm. We had over 15,000 8th Ward residents without power and as of 5pm they are down to 3600 resident’s left to restore with over 24 ComEd crews working around the clock to get your power restored.
Despite ComEd not being a city agency, ComEd’s COO showed up today with me and walked the 8th Ward! Be patient, as the crews are diligently working to restore power as soon as possible! I will keep you posted.
